We focus on the delivery of highly specialized interpretation to any client in the State of Missouri.  The advancement of radiology systems and bandwidth capabilities allow easy distribution of information, images and reports efficiently to any location.

The expertise of our three Board Certified radiologists includes Fellowship trained radiologists with subspecialty areas including musculoskeletal (MSK), pediatrics, oncological, body, interventional and cardiovascular imaging.

The radiologists’ musculoskeletal experience is highly specialized and includes reading for more than 50 orthopaedic physicians throughout Central Missouri as well as the University, College and High School athletic teams in the region.

Meet Our Doctors

Neal R. Meyer, MD

Board-Certified General Diagnostic Radiologist

Dr. Meyer joined the practice of Columbia Radiology, Ltd in June of 2000. As a board certified radiologist his expertise includes a special interest in musculoskeletal MRI and general diagnostic imaging. He is licensed in the states of Missouri and Tennessee. His bachelor of science was obtained from Iowa State University and he subsequently completed his MBA in finance at the University of Texas. He received his MD from Southwestern Medical School University of Texas in Dallas. After an internal medicine rotation at Parkland Hospital and Dallas VA Medical Center in Dallas, Texas he pursued radiology, completing his radiology residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT an affiliate of Yale University School of Medicine.

Michael Butterfield, MD

Board-Certified Fellowship Trained Body Imaging

Dr. Butterfield joined Columbia Radiology, Ltd in July of 2015. He completed his undergraduate degree from Northern Michigan University. Before completing his MRI Fellowship in Body Imaging he received his Doctorate of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed residency at Providence Hospital Medical Center where he was the Chief Resident of diagnostic radiology.

Sam Ashraf, DO

Board-Certified Fellowship Trained Musculoskeletal Radiologist

Dr. Ashraf joined Columbia Radiology, Ltd August 2015. He completed his undergraduate degree from Haverford College PA and his MD from Kirksville College of Osteopathic medicine. Before achieving his MRI Musculoskeleltal Radiology Fellowship he completed his internship and residency at the Department of Radiology Michigan State University Garden State Hospital.
